Alice Paltrinieri work mainly focuses on the concept of space and connection through the use of sculptures, installations and video works linking and interact with different locations and limits at the same time, creating a memory and document of movement and interaction. Her works often have technological components that are activated by a human presence, stimulating the interaction between the work and the user. The anthropocentric imprint of man occupying all space available: through collaborating, investigating and gathering data of how we interact with a space is an intrinsic part of Paltrinieri’s work. Her focus and interest in the visitor having an active role, not knowing, the visitor is “tracked” throughout a space which intern interacts with her visibile work.
